Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our team. The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of networking technologies, hands-on experience with network hardware and software, and a proven track record of successfully managing complex network environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain our organization's network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.

• Plan and execute network upgrades, migrations, and expansions to support business growth and evolving technology requirements.

• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues, including latency, packet loss, and connectivity issues, to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.

• Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access controls, to protect against cyber threats and vulnerabilities.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT operations, security, and software development, to integrate network requirements into overall IT infrastructure and application architecture.

• Develop and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures, to ensure accurate and up-to-date records of network assets and configurations.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers and support staff, assisting them in resolving complex network issues and developing their skills.

• Stay updated on emerging networking technologies, trends, and best practices, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement and innovation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or Military, or relevant certifications.

• 5-7 years of experience in network engineering or related roles, with a focus on designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-scale networks.

• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP), and VPNs.

• Hands-on experience with network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers, from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto Networks, and Fortinet.

• Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices, including threat detection, prevention, and mitigation techniques.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Juniper Networks Certified Internet Professional (JNCIP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)) preferred.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
