Job Description: We are seeking a talented and experienced Cloud Security Engineer to join our team. The Cloud Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures to protect our clients' cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, security best practices, and regulatory requirements. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to assess security risks, develop and implement security policies and controls, and respond to security incidents as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement security measures to protect cloud environments, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) platforms.

• Conduct security assessments and audits of cloud infrastructure, applications, and services to identify vulnerabilities and compliance gaps.

• Develop and implement security policies, standards, and procedures for cloud environments, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

• Monitor cloud security controls and systems, including intrusion detection and prevention systems, security information and event management (SIEM) solutions, and identity and access management (IAM) tools.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security requirements into cloud architecture and design, ensuring that security is built into cloud solutions from the ground up.

• Respond to security incidents and breaches in a timely manner, conducting forensic investigations, containment, and remediation activities as needed.

• Stay updated on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies related to cloud computing, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, Military, or relevant certifications.

• 3 years of experience in cloud security engineering or related roles.

• In-depth knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

• Experience with cloud security best practices, standards, and compliance frameworks (e.g., CIS benchmarks, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, GDPR, HIPAA).

• Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security principles.

• Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, SIEM solutions, and encryption.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security - Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, Certified Cloud Security Professional) preferred.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
